However, cannabis use for pets requires caution, as not all components of raw cannabis products are safe for animals. CBD vs. THC: Key Differences for Pets When it comes to pets, the primary component of interest is cannabidiol (CBD), a non-psychoactive compound in cannabis that has been shown to have anti-inflammatory, anxiolytic, and pain-relieving properties.
